Hydac launches SustainMicron sustainable filtration solution for CONEXPO

As it prepares for CONEXPO, Hydac announced the North American launch of its new SustainMicron, a breakthrough in filtration technology that sets a new industry benchmark for sustainability, performance, and system reliability. This filtration technology delivers up to 30% lower differential pressure than previous generations while maintaining exceptional dirt-holding capacity and filtration efficiency.

By combining the strengths of Optimicron, Optimicron Pulse, and Stat-Free technologies into a single, all-in-one solution, SustainMicron streamlines inventory, replaces multiple product lines, and simplifies system design for demanding industrial and mobile applications.

The filter’s value is further elevated within the context of Fluid Architecture Engineering, the new design discipline from Hydac focused on engineering fluid behavior at the system level. Clean, stable fluid is foundational to predictable hydraulic performance, and SustainMicron supports this architecture by helping control electrostatic discharge, maintain stable contamination levels, and reduce system losses.

Hydac will showcase elements of its Fluid Architecture Engineering approach at CONEXPO 2026, March 3-7, with demonstrations focused on deaeration, fluid stability, and sustainable filtration, including SustainMicron. In-booth presentations include:
