The newest globally compliant materials from Minnesota Rubber and Plastics produce high purity and differentiated products with the added benefit of helping to reduce stock-keeping units (SKU’s) and product inventory in multiple markets and countries. These new globally compliant materials give designers greater design flexibility while providing efficiencies of fewer material and end-product requirements.
Minnesota Rubber and Plastics’ new, globally compliant portfolio of materials include FKM 515CG, Qmonix 558CH and NBR 536EG specifically formulated for Water and MedPharma markets.
“As stated in the Minnesota Rubber and Plastics Product Fact Sheet, our globally compliant materials are certified under MedPharma and Water worldwide governing bodies,” reports Lih Fang Chew, Global Vice President of Marketing – MedPharma. “Our commitment is to maintain these on-going global material certifications so OEM’s don’t have to develop the materials competencies themselves, and save on redundant inventory, and provide security that their products will meet localized compliances around the globe.”
These independent testing agencies include USP, FDA, Sanitary 3-A, EC1935/2004, NSF and more. The various agencies have tested and validated the new Minnesota Rubber and Plastics materials issuing formal certifications to Minnesota Rubber and Plastics for specific industry applications.
“This is a major achievement for the Minnesota Rubber and Plastics organization,” stated Lih Fang Chew. “It elevates our technology to the highest level in the stated vertical markets. It provides product designers with new material options that satisfy multiple certifications and market requirements.”
