TIPCO Technologies, a provider of fluid conveyance, sealing solutions and industrial supply chain services, is expanding its gasket and sealing platform through investments in manufacturing equipment and regional production capabilities.
The company has installed new gasket cutting equipment at its Glen Burnie, Maryland and Corpus Christi, Texas facilities. It is also expanding manufacturing capacity in the Northeast by relocating additional gasket cutting technology to Rochester, New York.
These investments support TIPCO’s custom gasket manufacturing, engineered sealing solutions, emergency replacement services and inventory management support for customers across North America.
“Customers are increasingly looking for sealing partners that can provide both local responsiveness and national scale,” said Ryan Gocher, chief commercial officer at TIPCO Technologies. “These investments allow us to produce custom sealing solutions closer to our customers while leveraging the expertise and resources of our entire network.”
TIPCO’s sealing operations include facilities in Maryland, New York, Texas, Oregon and California, supporting customers with operations across multiple locations.
The company’s capabilities include laser cutting, flash cutting, waterjet cutting, die cutting, die stamping, lathe cutting, reverse engineering, CAD-assisted design, field measurements and gasket inventory management programs.
TIPCO offers sealing products such as custom rubber gaskets, compressed fiber gaskets, PTFE gaskets, flexible graphite gaskets, spiral wound gaskets, heat exchanger gaskets, packing products, expansion joints, O-rings and isolation kits.
Through partnerships with manufacturers including Garlock, Teadit and American Biltrite, TIPCO provides sealing technologies for industrial, municipal, OEM, aerospace, defense and water treatment applications.
Several TIPCO sealing facilities maintain certifications including ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ITAR registration and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified gasket manufacturing. The company’s Glen Burnie operation is certified to produce NSF 61 cut gaskets for drinking water and water treatment applications.
