C. Otto Gehrckens has put its new technology center into operation, directly on the company’s site in Pinneberg, near Hamburg, therefore decisively expanding its sealing manufacturing expertis. Across an overall area of 2,000m2, the specialists at COG are developing new materials to meet industry’s challenges of tomorrow. The extensive, modern equipment in the technology center makes it possible to simulate all stages of production and at the same time to replicate the various production processes. With the new technology center, COG now has at its disposal greater means and capacity to advance the company’s broad portfolio in a focused manner and so that process reliability is guaranteed.
A consistent, future-orientated and customer-orientated range is what made the company an internationally renowned manufacturer of elastomer seals. The new technology center, with its wide-ranging opportunities for product development and technological innovation, is a further step into the future.
