The next CCEFP Industry-University Summit will be held at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, April 4-6.
The “Summit,” co-sponsored by CCEFP and the National Fluid Power Association, is a bi-annual meeting of the minds for fluid power industry and academic researchers. It connects industry to university resources and talent through technical presentations, networking opportunities, and tours at leading universities in the United States. Special features of this Summit will include tours of the Bosch Rexroth-R.C. Womack Fluid Power Laboratory and other A&M facilities, and evening social events. The Summit will also host closed-door meetings for the CCEFP Industry Engagement Committee (IEC) and NFPA Technology Roadmap representatives.
The events were established to ensure that the research strategy and projects conducted by the CCEFP serve the long-term needs of the fluid power industry. Twice a year, the committee holds a meeting at the Summits to review progress on CCEFP research projects and to interact directly with the students performing the research.
