New filters reduce spare parts and lower maintenance costs

ARGO-HYEXAPOR-MAX-2_Logo_gerade_300dpiTOS’ return-suction filter offers functional improvements of the return filter and section or pressure filter, such as excellent cold start characteristics, protection of the filling pump, fewer components and reduction of spare parts and maintenance costs.

Additional advantages include one filter for both circuits, the total oil volume being filtered in the return line, more oil flowing in the return line than taken off through the suction line, excellent cold start behavior through pre-charged oil being sucked through a pressure control valve, and the feed pump always being supplied with filtered oil.

For all return-suction filters, two ARGO-HYTOS filter grades are available: 10EX2 and 16EX2, both with the patented EXAPOR MAX2 design.

The structure of the specially developed three-layer filter material, using glass and polyester fibers of different finenesses, combined with an improved hybrid support fabric made of stainless steel and polyester, sets the standard for pressure loss, dirt holding capacity and flow fatigue stability.

The plastic sleeve used offers a custom label, protection from damage and improvement of flow fatigue stability.

As an alternative to EXAPOR MAX2, the newly developed and less expensive EXAPOR Light filter Filterselements are available on request.

Several series for inline and in-tank mounting are available depending on the mounting position and required performance.

The in-tank mounting versions are equipped with pressure relief valves; the in-line mounting variants are equipped with a bypass. The modular design of the filter allows for easy implementation of customer wishes, such as special connection configurations. In the design of return-suction filters, the specific requirements of hydrostatic drives have even more to be taken into account than in the design of separate filters for the filling pump and the working circuit.

The filters come with exact design into their own, thus ensuring maximum efficiency and performance of the system even under extreme operating conditions.
