parker sealsThe Engineered Polymer Systems Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, announces the launch of Resilon 4350 Polyurethane delivering unmatched high temperature seal performance and reliability for a wide range of applications. This new material extends the high temperature sealing range of polyurethanes by over 20° F.

Parker’s Resilon Polyurethane is the established industry leader in high performance hydraulic sealing systems. This newest addition, Resilon 4350, increases the high temperature operating window from 225° to 250° F for continuous use in many applications while other critical performance attributes such as wear resistance, extrusion resistance, glass transition temperature, and rebound remain best in class. All of this adds up to a new solution for seal designers as they push the envelope in temperature extremes.

Resilon 4350 is a great choice for applications where there is concern about short term high temperature exposure or where the continuous operating temperatures are elevated. Extended seal life in these conditions reduces downtime and increases the maintenance interval of the equipment.

“Parker has been a leader in material science technology for decades with a strong history of serving the Fluid Power industry in applications where performance and reliability are essential. Resilon 4350 Polyurethane is our newest example of the innovative minds of our material scientists and design engineers.” said Dale Ashby, VP of Technology at Parker Hannifin.
